Christopher Gallego

Christopher Gallego was born in Manhattan and lived in Jackson Heights, Queens until his parents moved to Texas just before starting elementary school. Inheriting his father's love of photography, Christopher's own appreciation for fine arts developed at an early age, in no small part because of the old Hollywood stories his mother would tell him. Growing up in Havana, his mother Frances dreamed of Hollywood and could tell you the life stories of nearly every major Hollywood player. It was no small wonder that after seeing Christopher Reeve in Superman III, Christopher declared that he wanted to grow up and be...Superman. A brief and loving physics lesson helped make the transition from aspiring superhero to aspiring actor/filmmaker...and the dream was born.

Christopher began his formal training at a young age back in Texas. Blessed by the guidance of an exceptional drama director and prominent fine arts department at his high school alma mater [Haltom High], Christopher was accepted into the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, where he was fortunate to work with some of the best teachers in New York. During that time, he performed at both Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, was awarded a departmental award for excellence, and subsequently spent a semester training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London--an experience that changed his life.

As a director that works on both sides of the camera, Christopher prides himself in understanding actors and the process they undertake when preparing for a role. He has appeared in various films, television shows, and a multitude of national commercials. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and his daughter Madeline--a petite princess and the light of his life. Christopher and Jennifer are expecting a new little miracle in June of 2011. He is truly blessed.
